** You may submit your hours at any time of year, but it is very helpful to our record-keeping if you report your volunteer hours twice a year: June 30 and December 31.
________________________________
BASIC INSTRUCTIONS
** Be sure to fill out your name and the beginning and end dates (month and year) for the period you’re reporting.
** If using the Excel version of the timesheet, note that you can keep track of your total hours, if you wish. Ralph Hall has designed the form to include a column to put in accumulated hours in the “Previous” column (F). From Ralph: “For each new month, you’ll have to copy the TOTAL hours in column G into your column F (using Copy and Paste Special, values only) for the next month. Make sure the number of columns align properly when doing this. You may have to edit some of the rows, if a project is added or deleted. When completed, e-mail the form to Volunteer Timesheet Coordinator.”
INFO TO INCLUDE
** Fill in your hours, plus travel time, for each project you’ve worked on during the period. If including monthly meetings, assume that approximately half of the time will be administrative meeting time. The other half (plus travel time) can normally be counted as education time because monthly meetings usually highlight a speaker or some other educational activity.
